making a motorcross game like in treys example https://www.buildbox.com/tutorials/ followed it point bypoint but my character on wheels is always off the screen to the right and not in the middle of the screen. banging my head against the wall to work out why. see image below. anyone any ideas?
yep - done that, made no differeance, have a pass on the right and rest are blocked.. must be something super simple
@simonsaunders If you character can outrun your game speed - and you have a pass in your game frame, then (unless i'm missing something) your character can run off the screen. So you can make it so he is blocked (instead of pass), or adjust speeds. Hope this helps.
here is a video ofthe problem http://screencast.com/t/kECp4GIb5cE5 all i want is the character to stay in the middle of the screen. game has to have a pass on the right to get through. bg scrolls. but character out runs the speed of the bg. i just copied treys example in the video. see Watch Video Creating A Physics Game so what i end up with all scenes is the character focus is hard right, when it should be in the middle, regardless of speed.
you don't want pass you want block and you want to bring it to about the middle of the screen... have you tried this?
