HI, I want my Enemy to play a defeated animation after I jump on it "kill" it and I want "defeated animation" to stop at the last frame of that "defeated animation". Hope this makes sense. Like in super Mario, the only difference I want the Main Character to die too when he jumps on it. How can I achieve this?
I assume you could connect a non collision object under your character and set it to destroy enemy. you can control the defeated animation frame rates in the animation editor
If you want your defeated animation to last longer, try this cheat and see if this works (I haven't tried it yet): Make duplicates of the last frame of the animation sequence and number them accordingly. e.g. if you had Death1, Death2, Death3 and Death4. then take Death4 and make five or ten more of that and name them Death5, 6,7,8,9,10 etc for as long as you want that sequence to last. That might do the job. You want the main character to die at the same time as the enemy? I suppose that might be possible in the collide settings.
ajcoryat yes, I made a non collision transparent object and linked it to a character (as a character bullet). Now it works!
