I ALREADY UNDERSTAND-how to create a ITUNES TESTFLIGHT BETA that auto updates Devs Publishers for updates . Some are asking for an TESTFLIGHT APK LINK..........????????? Can someone share how to do this?
https://developer.apple.com/testflight/ But basically you have to make a build in Xcode and upload it. Once uploaded go to iTunes Connect and do the rest. Apples guide: https://developer.apple.com/library...Connect_Guide/Chapters/BetaTestingTheApp.html This guide is a little easier to follow: http://www.raywenderlich.com/101790/ios-beta-testing-with-testflight-tutorial
I already understand this. I put the devs emails and they get a copy of my latest build. Companies are asking for a shared link to testflight apk as an link.
Mmmmm. Yes, once external testers are invited to TestFlight, they will receive a link to download the official app from the App Store where they get your app and also updates. But it seems you are looking for something different not sure what it is though. Sorry if I couldn't be of any help.
Yeah there is a large publisher that asked me for a URL link......not sure but I did see this before as people showed the APK as a shared link on one of the code template websites.
APK is android, IPA is IOS, so I guess you mean IPA. If you real mean a "testflight" on android, I'm out. There is a possibility to use wireless distribution, see my comments in this thread https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/apple-feature-or-big-publisher.1677/#post-10949 If you do not have a webserver to distribute the package, you can use diawi.com [Edit] Just for clarification: this is the solution for IOS without testflight but by permitting registered devices via UUID
This shouldn't work for IPA unless the appropriate profile has been installed on the device first, or is this supposed to work if the profile is included in the archive ? Didn't test this so far.
If you want to distribute the IPA of your game you need the UDID of the testers device and include it first in your device list in iTunes Connect. Then make the build. I think it doesn't matter how you distribute the IPA. Diawi is very easy and can be installed directly from the device. If you do it with a Dropbox link, then you would need iTunes to install the app.
I have never tried Diawi, I might give it a go. @Wings n Armor Why they do not accept external test though?
