    Hi everyone,

With BB 3D coming soon, I was wondering what software everyone uses to make 3D or isometric art. I'm really excited about BB 3D and can't wait to get started on a 3D game.

    Thanks,

    Danny :)

Or use Magical Voxel or Goxel, they are free.

@Deliverbo if you want 2D isometric art, you can use Hexels by Marmoset. That's what I use for a ton of my client design work and also using it on Trixel Rocket.

That's right. Hexels is the way to go for isometric art, Magicavoxel for voxel.

What's the difference between Voxel and Isometric?

I think in this context, voxel is 3d @Christoph

I think you can do both though with Hexels. In this sense, Hexels is more versatile. You can do 3D, animations, flat pixel style, you even can transform your vector art into pixel.

MagicaVoxel has become a very good Voxel only program. That's true also. And, ... it's free.

One thing for sure with Magical Voxels is that you will have to optimize the resulting mesh if you want to use it in bb3 (you can use blender for that). Commercial software like Qubicle have this built in.
