I am trying to make a flappy color switch kind of game, Im wondering how to have the character change to a random color after passing through an object much like in this video
There's most likely an invisible Action behind the color blocks. The character collects the Action and it changes the character's color. You won't be able to have the character change to a random color... it will need to be a specific color you set the character to. You'll need to add the color of the character you want to the Action Animation and set the Animation Placement to 'Character' and the Animation Behavior to 'Replace'. (check screenshot below)
