Oh interesting... you are playing with your index finger. I never thought of that. I hold the phone in one hand and the other one is holding on to the pole in the subway lol. Maybe the powerups are fine with sound being an indicator. I am usually multitasking though, listening to a podcast or an audible book while playing games and trying to balance a coffee somehow, so i had turned down the sound of Dodgey. I am big on having sounds in games though and if i were playing it at home i'd have the sound on for sure.
So the Mac was easier to publish than Eclipse, but it still had some kinks to figure out. Both games are uploaded and awaiting itunes approval. (weekends... arg) I also uploaded a new version (1.5) to the play store based on your feedback @colette_levesque, thanks again! Let me know what you think. That should make it stable, so let me know if there's anything else wrong.
I see the Android updated version. Is great. Powerups on the bottom again and i was able to unlock all the characters. Thanks. I'll install on my ipad sometime and test the game there too.
Updated the OP, but here is the link to the source files. Enjoy. http://www.filedropper.com/dodgey-open-source
Now, to begin with, the first challenge is to port the game to Buildbox 2. So far, a direct conversion does not work. It crashes BB 2 since not all components get connected properly and are left hanging in the air during the conversion process.
I was just jumping on to say the same thing. Even though the start button is set up, it doesn't work for some reason. Any attempt to preview from any game layer ends in it crashing.
I did try to open the file in 2.0 and also ran into crash issues. If I try again and get it working, I'll post the bbdoc.
I just clicked on that link, and it took me to the main page, where they want me to sign up for an account. Are the files still there? And do I have to sign up for an account to access them? You did a great job on this... the game is a lot of fun
