    Hey guys,

how can I make the best fluent running animation for my character?

You got some experience with that?
My running animation looks not nice, and I got 9 frames for just running.

    Thanks!

There’s a chance you will need more frames.

The more frames you have, the more natural and animated the animation will look.

If you have to stick with the 9 frames, have a play with the speed inside the animation window.
You may find a speed of 1.5 or 0.5 looks better, depending on the assets.

I think it’s as many as you like.
Just remember the more you have will affect loading times and game size.

IF YOU WANT A FULLY FLUID ANIMATION YOU NEED AT LEAST 24 PICTURES.

    EXAMPLE 24 PICTURES PER SECOND

    EXAMPLE 6 PICTURES PER SECOND

You don't always need 24 frames. There is quite a bit more to it than that. But yes, in general, more frames per second will give you a more fluid animation if the animation is designed well. If the animation is designed badly then no amount of frames will help.
