I know how to do it, its just too hard to explain. Theres lots of attributes to it, invisible objects. When i get some time ill do a demo doc.
not sure, but somewhere on the forum he explained what happened, i think fortify or another developer approached to take the game to level it is now. He just yes or no to any new updates.
yea i can do that. I've been playing around with same idea, i have got to spin clockwise and anticlockwise . just trying to get speed right. Im at work at the moment but i will try something in the next few days.
@Jaky1 Give this a try. It may not be exactly what you are looking for but may give you some ideas, while in game when I click the Pink button the player (blue rectangle) rotates (give or take a few degrees). Attached is a buildbox doc Again this is probably not exactly what your looking for but maybe it will spark some ideas. You can change the speed by playing with the Angular Velocity and the timeout values (if you want it to go faster). Sorry I haven't played color switch since it was first released difficult to understand exactly what your looking for.
Haha. I had to laugh reading the last posts. Jaky1 behaved like my 2 year old daughter asking every 5 seconds if she can listen to a particular song. Can I daddy? Can I daddy? Can I... This is exactly what I needed. Damn. I actually tried this myself but it didn't work. Is the advance move all the magic? If yes, not sure why it didn't work in my own test. Anyway, thank you very much.
That's so funny! Lol The only problem with this is it's not accurate, more of a guessing game. If I get time today I'll try another way And super glad I could help a veteran like yourself and yep it's all advanced move. Another draw back is if you keep clicking it will keep spinning off setting the 90 degree intervals I also increased the speed (angular velocity) to 10 and set rotation drag to 7.74 and timeout to 0.001 and it looks pretty good rotating faster and stopping better.
@kodagames thank you so much I will try it... @Christoph lol.. I was really in a hurry to somewhere and as playgames6666 said so i thought he knew how to do it... Then I just took off.. However will try kodagames file and hope it is what I want.. When I get home..
the harder you work, the luckier you get... @Machine Rises designed 40 games before color switch went "ridiculous" ("viral" doesn't quite cut it)... a lot of work was involved getting that "lucky"
Yep thats how i have done it, But i can't work out to use it in a game though. Collision shapes are to hard. LOL
@playsgames6666 Thank you mate...BTW this is a very nice concept for a game a unique one, if you can work on it, make it an awesome game...!
