@Collin Wade Thiessen
I was wondering how you do some things in your game? I've been racking my brain and cant figure it out.
How did you do the rocket flying?
How did you do the part where darthy starts losing energy and needs recharged?
How did you do the little flying bubbles that give you a temporary boost?
All are game play actions tweaked to suit the situation. No logic was used lol With the Rocket level I overlay the art and then for settings I took a screen shot of the flappy preset settings and started to tweak. Pretty much the same for the rest. The boost is only set for a second and then it goes back to regular gameplay settings. Losing energy is another action but I just limited the movement of the character each time it hit an invisible action. Pretty much my kids playing the game and saying "you know what would be cool".
Super stoked you like it. Just received an espresso maker for a present.... me likey
@Collin Wade Thiessen I finally picked up a copy of Darthy on Steam. Great stuff. But I noticed that there is no associated Icon for the desktop. See attached.
This guy reach out to me and asked if he could play DARTHY and of course I said yes. He plays with his chin and plays better than anyone including my kids at DARTHY. Please have a look at his video and like it if you get a chance as I'm sure he will be thrilled.
thats just awesome
Nice! I'll be sharing it on Facebook to my friends. Don't forget to share it in the Facebook group I started (please)
Darthy is in a bundle if anyone is interested hope all are well
I still have this installed on my Android phone. Damn I hated those flying things
Awesome! you just made my day. thanks man
And then I realize now that this was made with Buildbox 1. Considering the limitations Buildbox 1 must have had, Darthy is extremely innovative! I liked how you ended the game, the rocket ships crashing into walls part , and the humor too. "laughing in spanish" is a joke I still make until now. Sorry for stealing your joke
bawhaha so cool man. you rock. My kids will love hearing that!
