This is the original question...
Haha @heathclose totally overlooked that.
To anyone who wants a template: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vhanoll4sdyqu55/SpinnyGame.bbdoc?dl=0
How to Play: Hold the screen to rotate
how is the navigation button on the ui turning the wheels...
But I think i am going to leave buildbox Now, after publishing my first game with a publisher which i made : https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/suggest-a-name-my-first-game-preview.4161/
*BuildBox Lets Some Ideas Down*
I am gonna start unity, I also have a background in unity (BASICS)
Buildbox cannot let your imagination expand and is a little bit Weak Software.
Haha no worries man
Buildbox isnt trying to be a replacer to unity etc. Its aimed at people who DONT want to or CANT code. Of course it has limits....which is the purpose of this forum and UPDATES. from BB 1.0 [and the projects before it was even called buildbox] it has come a long way and will continue to grow,
So i load the template in bb 2.1.0 and its all messed up.
Ok i figured it out. Was fine. Just mind map was all whacky. Game sample works a charm.
Hey guys the game was created in 1.0, might have to tweak some settings for it to work in 2.0
Yah i figured that. Cleaned it up and works a charm. You have anymore dropboxed bbdocs? lol
ill trade you....artwork for bbdoc samples lol
@brakewind723 the reason I asked how a navigation button was doing anything is because when you open that bbdoc in bb2, the ui shows a navigation button set on default, however it acts like a motor cw button, so I'm wondering if that's what you had on the bb1 ui and maybe the conversion shows a navigation button in error, even though the functionality is correct...
It looks like a conversion error to me: I have just created a new project in BB 1.3.6 and added a Motor CW button, saved and opened up with BB 2 and yes, the button becomes a Navigation Button with the Motor CW action (which is actually hidden from the BB 2 Editor, but I can see that function in the source code). I guess in BB 1 all buttons were in the same place whereas in BB 2 got grouped by functional logic and that makes this funny conversion error.
I have sent a ticket about it to support, although it is not a major issue
Dude! Your Project Worked like Charm. You Should Get Into Deeper BuildBox! You Can Make The Next Color Switch!
Hey the download link doesn't work anymore. Is there an update for this feed? Still trying to figure out how to control an object with the UI?
Any help would great thanks!
What about question 2? I also need an answer to that one
Separate names with a comma.
