This post was referenced in an alert on my Google Developer account. Optimize your Apps for Chromebooks Has anyone tried supporting Chromebooks yet? New source for App downloads, how many Chromebooks are there I wonder?
As far as I know Google will marry Android with Chrome OS and after that Chromebook will be able to run Android apps. The new OS will be called Andromeda. http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/0...ning-the-andromeda-os-for-release-in-q3-2017/
Thanks @trudnai, The article I referenced says "Google Chromebooks now support the Google Play Store and Android apps." Your article says "Andromeda is a completely distinct effort from Google's current campaign to bring Android apps to Chromebooks," I believe our Apps/Games can run on Chromebooks now if properly implemented and configured. Now I have some testing to do. Just making sure no one else has done this already. I happen to have an Acer Chromebook for testing. MTF.
Oh I have missed the point that running Android apps on a Chromebook is possible right now. Does key mapping works well for those devices?
