Based on the info provided I'm guessing that you need to update your Xcode.

What version of Xcode and BB are you using now? Most likely you just need to re-export the project.

I have Xcode 8.3.3 and the newest version of buildbox(2.3.3.0) installed...
Re-Exporting the project didn't work, I'm getting the same error again.

hmm I tried pasting this command in the terminal
    rm -rf ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData
but this also didn't helped I got same asset error again.
I will try the other options mentioned on stackoverflow later.

Did you add an icon? Otherwise, I would contact support@buildbox.com and provide your BBDOC so we can check how it is set up.

Yes, of course. I tried old exported projects(exported from Buildbox) if they still would work in Xcode and they do. But if I now export them(the old 100% working unchanged projects) from Buildbox and archive them in Xcode I get an "Asset Catalog Compiler Error".

So a strange thing I found out is that the build succeeds if I run the app on the emulator. The App works fine on the Emulator and the app icon is also visible...
