Hey Boxers! We had a total of 80 submissions and some absolutely fantastic games. I was blown away by how well all your games turned out and I am super proud of all of you. It was really tough for us to pick the winners, but after extensively looking over the top games, we finally have our official game jam winners! Here is a video announcing who the winners are: Buildbox Game Jam Winners Thank you to everyone who participated and I'll be sure to let you know when we are having the next game jam! Best, Zack Griset
yes same here! but in Portrait instead of Landscape which I haven't seen too much before. love Mars: Mars, but in portrait style, it's easier to play with one hand
Congrats to the winners and the participants @ZackGriset Would like to see at least one screenshot of all 80 entries .Or a quick 80 entries game play video. What say you guys ??
Other entries might not appreciate that as they might be doing their own reveals because they want to publish it in the store @TheGameAppStudio
which is based off Jupiter lander from the 80s that's what it reminded me of https://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/jupiter-lander cant wait to play all of these entries
But its a game entry right? Its fair to hide entries during contest as there might be probability of entry clones but isn't it a good thing to show other game entries too?I would have displayed my game entry win or loss.Just my opinion. That's what competition is for i.e bring out the idea.
Haha yeah I think I was just being paranoid @TheGameAppStudio. I guess when they entered the game jam they had already expected that people would be seeing their entries post-jam. I think a quick highlight reel of the top games would be cool.
Congrats to all the winners ! i really like the second game Thank you @Buildbox and @ZackGriset for making this game jam it was really challenging and great experience! I will make my game from jam live on both Google Play and App Store soon
Congrats to all! Awesome stuff. Also, in the top games there are some very nice games with cool ideas. Love it. And winners are super cool. And it was a good thing to have participated in the end. It teached me to focus on a deadline which I haven't had for a long time. And I admit, it's good to have one. Have to organize myself better. Thanks Zack for organizing this.
Thank you @DariusGuerrero for sharing .It was worth watching Most games have a huge potential .Kudos to those developers. And once again congratulations to all winners and participants.
