    Great news BB2 is coming out a year earlier than expected. My email says we'll get early access on 12th January 2015.

    In case anyone missed or has not seen the email yet, below is the anouncement:

    First off we want to thank everyone for their patience with Buildbox 2. We know you are very excited to try the new version, as we are to deliver it. Unfortunately, we've had to push back the release date for Buildbox 2.0 until February, but we do have a set date for Early Access.

    We will be officially releasing Early Access on January 12th, 2016. These final days of development will allow us to ensure we deliver a solid product to you for Early Access. Our goal with Early Access is to deliver more than just a beta, but a solid product you can start using immediately in your business. We're very close, but these final 2 weeks will ensure we hit that mark.

    Yup I'd rather wait another two weeks well just under two weeks than have it released now not as polished. Not that far away guys;)

    I think we can all appreciate @TreySmith 's and Team Buildbox's integrity to releasing a stable product for early release, rather than a great looking bug. Honestly, I did not purchase yet for early access because I won't be using BB2 for business until it is a product free of game-breaking bugs. I am still working with BB1, which I know meets my game's needs right now and has almost no issues. If the early release will be a product free (mostly) of bugs and rather stable, then I will likely purchase the early release instead of wait. What matters to me and my business is a functional Buildbox 2. From the moment I sit down with it, it'd be great for it to work as expected. Even if there are some minor bugs that need patching, that's fine. It will also be good to see the trainings on how to use it so that we can all begin cracking into the possibilities and game design affordances of Buildbox 2. Thanks to Team Buildbox for the hard work.

    Where are we with regards to payment? There must be many who have purchased in good faith, like myself, a monthly subscription only to find that there is no product. And now a delay. Effectively many will have paid for 12 months but only get 11 months of software use?

    I cancelled my sub immediately as soon as I discussed with them to start the sub on the the day BB2 is delivered. So, I'll reapply Jan 12.
