Buildbox 2.0 - January 12

im a 3d designer, with 2 failed projects were they have bailed out for the last finish so im so excited to get this

 

So no BB 2.0 on 12th as promised going to sleep...
@TreySmith I am sure most would agree - I'd rather wait until a more proper pre-release is sent with the features shown rather than having to start on a project without all features there... especially path that you mentioned before....

 

@mobile_gamegraphics , BB2 is being released today... some features that need tweaking will still be released before actual full release of BB2.

 

Just got up, so I'm assuming that nobody has copy of BB2 in their hands. I'm over the angry stage now, and I understand the guys would have given up their holidays to get most of this done. So all I can say is thanks for trying and making the effort. Life happens and you can't control everything. So I'm going off on to other projects now all the best !

So if I were a person that came to the site, and clicked the Buy Now button, and paid for a subscription for BB2 "Early Access", I would get a link to download it immediately? Am I correct on that or am I way off base? Someone else can get it right now, but those like myself who signed up in the last 2 months and were promised "Early Access" don't have it yet?

Am I the only one who is confused, and to be honest, feel a bit deceived by this? I thought the point of early access was that we would get it 1 Month before anyone else could! Had I known that everyone and their brother could buy or subscribe for it today, than I would have saved myself the $198 an waited.

 

To be fair the purchase page has clearly stated "Get Buildbox 1 now and Buildbox 2 before release". Apologies if you feel it was misleading that is not our intention. We are truly trying to deliver a great product, even during the early access period. The official release is still a month away.

 

For me I am in my second month of subscription with the demo period before that. BB1 allowed me to make 2 complete games as is. The product is awesome and yes it has limitations. But I would not need the software if I did not have my own limitations in game making. So it is a good match for me.

My games could be better via 2.0 but I am glad I joined and learned before 2.0. The first game was just released today on the iOS app store. Early access to me means I get to be a Beta tester to help fix potential issues for the software. I am still planning on releasing my second game without 2.0 and maybe make a few improvements for an update via 2.0.

Yee I got the subscription about a month ago because I thought it was coming in December.

Im stoked!!

 

I've been following buildbox since it was coming out, I saw huge potential but the price scared me and it seemed to limited.. Seemed more geared for app style games. Once I saw how they were improving with BB2, Its a major jump. It shows me the team is dedicated on making the software great! Ive been using BB1 for 3 weeks and I have a fully functional game working! 3 WEEKS! I spent months on other software and never got as close as I am now. Worth the money if this is your dream.

 

This is not looking promising for me...
