Just wondering to stop people reposting the same issues if it would be an idea for @Buildbox to create a git hub issue tracker? That way people can see what's been raised, assigned and what priority is given to an issue. People can vote on issues and its all in the one place? Obvs email to Support is always the best way but just thinking. https://blog.github.com/2009-04-15-github-issue-tracker/ Buildbox is only in Beta and I'm really loving the power and flexibility of BB3. Great job BB Team.
Yes, right now I think the team is taking a deep breath after the release (was a heavy one), but I think it's time. I know Nik is interested in something like this as well. We'll bring that into our meeting next week.
@TreySmith As Matt said BB3 is awesome. Currently, I am posting issues everywhere. It's good to track issues with priority. Some other Issue Trackers JetBrain's YouTrack https://www.jetbrains.com/youtrack/ Atlassian's JIRA https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/bug-tracking
Just checking if something like this is happening as I think it would be really useful with BB3 Beta.
Something as simple as a Trello board would go a long way. It’s kinda ridiculous how long buildbox has gone without a proper bug tracker considering its had so many bugs, both fixed and outstanding, not to mention the beta programs. I hope we get an update on this soon.
@swnam12 we actually already have an issue tracker in place, its in general discussion at the top as I made it sticky
@Josh (Tekanology) I meant one that was separate from a forum thread. Tracking bugs can get messy real fast and that’s why there are tools built for it. A forum thread is a terribly inefficient way of tracking bugs. When I worked with the team briefly in the days before BB, they used a standard bug/feature tracker. If they shared this, whether the original or a simplified made-to-share version in Trello, I’m sure a lot of people’s concerns would be alleviated. Just my two cents. I’m stepping away from Buildbox for a while and will be back when there is a stable, full-featured version.
