Background hold still and character run across the screen

Hey guys, any ideas on how to make the background hold still and the character run across the screen?

Setting the background speed to 0 will keep it from scrolling

 

Also you can have an object be the background and set it to decoration. You could then have different backgrounds this way if you wanted those to change along the way.
