So I got sick of trying to build something insanely great and decided to make something, anything. This is what I came up with in three hours. Didn't put much work into marketing it as I know it's not that great.
@swnam12 Hello! Can you, please, share the info how you game was chosen for Buildbox Showcase? https://www.buildbox.com/portfolio/avoid-it/ This game as you said taken you 3 hours and there is graphics from preset. Just wondering what is the secret.
Soruna katıyorum! Dört ay sıkı çalıştım ve hiç kimse oyuna bakmadı. [/ QUOTE] I published my game (iOS & Android) about 20 days ago. But the buildbox showcase was still not my game. Also, there was no retweeting or promotion on twitter. I'm about to lose motivation and hope. I think I produce a quality game. iOS: http://goo.gl/P22Ntk Android: http://goo.gl/rlVn5u
The game is a template with several levels, without graphic modifications or anything, I consider it a shame. @akrmtch His game is very interesting, graphically and with a good realization, where with simple steps, you can make a very interesting game. Translate your Play Store page into several languages (I use Google Translator). And finally, what I always tell people, optimizes the game ...
Buildbox yönetiminden resmi bir yanıt almak harika olur. [/ QUOTE] absolutely! An explanation is needed
You guys are kidding me This game was showcased on BB site just as it is without any graphics changes? OK I will quickly make one in next 65mins and release it as it is and see if mine will be showcased Oh I remember, he his BB's first cousin brother in-law's nephew with niece in front - so family first
Whats the fuss anyway, jealousy? @swnam12 well done anyway! if you did that in 3 hours, I hope i get to see the 3 months version
For the buildbox showcase you can just email support to have them showcase your game. But the all-star section is only for featured games
Hey everyone! Thanks for the replies! Old thread I know. Yes, I used presets and the included game graphics. Definitely not the best game I could have made. I don’t know how it got showcased (don’t think it’s still there) but definitely reach out to the buildbox team if you have a game you think is amazing. They’re generally very fast with replies and supportive of users and their games. Anyway the point I wanted to make was to start small and simple and work your way up. Because starting small doesn’t take as long. Just ask any of the successful boxers how many games they made before they found their “hit” success. I guarantee to you it’s more than one. And this was my way of doing that. @FranciscoBala Thanks! Hopefully I’ll have some time this holiday season to work on something better.
