I was wondering why some games look blurry while some games have sharp clear hi-re quality graphics. What causes the differences? the color pallete? or some setting? px size? Also how can one implement shadow and lightening effect inside Buildbox. Thanks in advance!

Your graphics design is responsible for making it good looking. However if you are a designer and trying to make simple game like phases using just basic shape choose some cool color pallete. Experiment their combination in photoshop or illustrator. after a finalization, export them in the exact size that fits in buildbox no upscale or downscale. Your game should look beautiful. Some game looks good with light and shadow, if your background is dark light would work good for you. I personally liked the alpha channel option of the light option (my designer pointed it to me). May be other good designer here will help you more.
