Arctic Smash Has Just Been Selected As Game Of The Day In The Appstore

Hello guys,

Our game Arctic Smash was originally released in November 2016 and has gone through several updates since. And I guess Apple took notice of the latest update because about two months ago we got an email from them requesting some promo art to promote the game in the store.




I sent the art that same day - based on the guidelines Apple requested, and I waited and waited until I forgot about it.

But today I woke up to this (screenshot taken in the Irish AppStore)


This is really exciting news to us as we release our games ourselves.
This means a lot to a small studio like us.

Anyway, the purpose of this is to show you that even old games can get a feature. Do not give up on previous games and keep updating them and polishing them.
I really hope this gives some motivation to developers out there. I know how hard it is to develop games on your own and to release them without a publisher.

Please: if you could please check the appstore in your country and tell me if you can also see Arctic Smash as game of the day that would be highly appreciated. I am trying to figure out where the game has been featured.
