Apps In Review Since 3-4 Weeks

My games submission to app store has been in review since long. Apple seems to closing tickets with generic replies. They are in review status and not moving forward. My account was in good terms prior to builbox and other games were approved within a weeks time. What could be the reason?

 

Cancel the review and re-upload the game

 

Maybe the guy like it very much and does not want to stop playing it

No ones really know how Apple Review works
Sometimes new update is life after two hours sometimes it take illogically long

3 of my apps are " in review" second day right now

Nope they were wating for review, and suddenly all 3 jump into in review

It happens sometimes. once i was wating for review two weeks

 

Well, nothing to do with Buildbox devs since we usually experience 1-2 days review or sometimes hours. It's about a lot of things:

• New iOS version
• 3 New iPhones (people wanting to cash in on new phone sales, getting their games in new devices)
• New Xcode version
• New Privacy Policy rule for apps, and many people updating their game
• New screenshot sizes getting people to update their game
• Upcoming holidays so people want to have themed updates for the holidays
• People in App Review attending training sessions about the changes

If it's stuck "In review" and not "waiting for review", it could be an error on Apple's part
Lots of people have been experiencing long review times lately

 

@Lamora what happened after 2 weeks wait? Were they finally reviewed or you re submitted apps?

 

@DariusGuerrero so what do you suggest as my apps are In Review since atleast 2 weeks?

 

I get impatient so i resubmit app and after that after 4 days it jumped to "In review"

Ok thays good. So app was reviewed finally right? Mine also turns to in review almost same days but issue is it remains in In Review for long and does not get reveiwed!

 

If you read the apple dev forums, many Indie devs are reporting the same problems. My Sept update has been 'in review' for 2 weeks. I have emailed Apple to see what is going on. Given how much money they make from developers, they should find a better way of telling us there's a delay rather than this huge mystery when it comes to the submission process.

 

One of the game just got approved, two others still in review no one knows how it works

 

I submitted an update to my game yesterday and it just went into review. Let's see how long it takes to get approved. I've never had to wait more than 24hrs once my games were in review. Fingers crossed!!

Very odd. Their systems must be bugged.

 

@rohitaneja8 same here one of our product is in review for about 10 days. No response from the contact yet. They asked us to wait

Apple have a certainly a lot of updates to reviews because of new rules... (GDRP...)
I got 3-4 app being removed for that yesterday...
when i’ll upload new update, they said that it will take 30 days to reviews it

After almost 3 weeks of waiting, my app was rejected! lol. Can you believe that I exported a portrait game in landscape, which I couldn't out why I would do that. I looked at BB 2.3.x and it defaulted to the projected I had opened previous - in landscape and exported the portrait game in landscape. Pah!

But 3 weeks is like the old days.

 

We currently have 2 Apple accounts, one is My own personal, where i upload My own games that i make, and the other is our company account, where Games made by the Company (as a whole group) and it gets uploaded, and is handled by the company.

Our company is new, and our game took 3 weeks in review, got rejected due to ammendments in privacy policy after 3 weeks, and we resubmitted after the ammendments and its still in review.

On the other hand, My personal account is 4 years old, and It takes 4 hours for any game that i make personally at home, to get reviewed. I feel amoun of games submitted before also matters a bit.
