So, I read so much... but what is actually better?

    This:
    "THE GAME"
    e.g. "Flappy Bird"

    Or:
"THE GAME - SOME ENDLESS CLONE WITH A CLICHE KEYWORD"
e.g. "Flappy Bird - An Endless Tap Game with Color Switching"

    Thanks :)
I usually do small titles with just the Name, but I'm wondering if I should try the second example.

I have wondered this a bit as well.
It seems to be the common thing at the moment with most game titles.
I think the second , with the long title may be good for keywords in searching for games. But i really don't know.

Hi friends, you should choose the second one.
According to recently Apple algorithm. Subtitle can not only increase keywords coverage, but also can improve the keywords weight in the app store. Try to put the core keywords in the subtitle, this can make your app can be searched easier than before.

For example, if you choose a subtitle as you mentioned above, "Flappy Bird - An Endless Tap Game with Color Switching" When you put the keywords An Endless Tap Game or Color Switching in the search box, you can also find Flappy Bird appears in the search result. But if you do not use subtitle, you only can search this game by putting the app name in the search box. So use a subtitle is a good choose. Make your app be searched easier.

well, AppStore now let publisher add a subtitle under their game/app name ... so it's pointless to go with spammy titles
