    Hey, buildboxers!

I just exported my 1st Android APK using the latest BB update and see what I got:
    - The main one is the "Unable to resolve target 'android-21' "
    - Eclipse doesn't even find the google-play-services_lib folder anymore when you Import a new project.
    - Have a look on the screenshots... this is ridiculous.

Since GooglePlay is not a hassle as Apple when it comes to uploading apps... I usually do myself, although I'm not a developer. However, this is an awful surprise, because I didn't get any of these crazy errors before.

Does somebody have a clue of what's going on? Is it just me or someone else is having the same problem?

Need some tech support here, please =/ Thank you!

Hey, Andy. I gotta bother you again.

I've done everything from the tutorials, followed step by step.

My Eclipse version was already the latest, so this step didn't do anything.
Turning off the Errors does only that - you cant see them. But they still exist. And still get in the way.

I can't run the application if the errors persist.
And, to make it worst, I just noticed that BB is exporting the file with an issue in the Cocos2D.lib
    > Typefaces.java

This is regarding the game font, right?

Google lib is not being loaded automatically.

Well... something's seriously wrong. And I didn't do anything different or unusual from before.
Simply set up the app configs (iDs, keys, etc etc) and clicked Export > Android.

Boom! List of errors. So what's the catch? =/

There you go. One more screenshot.

BB is not exporting the typeface.java file to the library folder.

How do I solve this? =/ I'm wasting time and losing money now... this is bad.
Even if I hire a proper developer, what can he do if I handle a defective file that came from BB in the first place?

Hi, try to do what they said in the video.

If you continues to failure, try to make a simple game, with only one screen, the game icon, the name.
Regarding Google Lib, I had the same error, and the only solution was to create the game, upload to Google Play, and then make a new version with ID Google Play Games, markers and link with the game.

    Hello, Jcalle.
Thanks for the video, but I dont think you guys are following me.

I'm doing the EXACT same thing from the video, same steps.
BUT, the BB file already comes chock full of errors.

The latest are in the screenshots attached now.
and sometimes I get this one >>>
(skipping file '.dummy' due to ANDROID_AAPT_IGNORE pattern '.*')

Right after I import the project to Eclipse, it has several errors. I mean SEVERAL.
Total of 108 errors. This is totally ridiculous =/

And turning off the notifications doesnt help, because they persist. I just can't see them.
But Eclipse can. Hence, I can't run the application, I can't export, i cant do anything.

Im waiting a definitive answer from Andy or anybody else from Buildbox that can sort this out
=/ because this issue comes from the BuildBox software. Im not adding any of the ad networks at the moment to see if anything changes. Failed.

Looks like a problem with your Java setup possibly. All BB exports are essentially the same except for the data and resources. I'm not having any issues creating an APK using Eclipse. I would try a few things...

    1) are you using the same java version we recommend in the guide?
    2) try a clean workspace with no other projects imported
    3) Check java compiler compliance (mine is 1.4)

    Hi, Andy.

Me again. I had to return, because this is not even funny =/
    Check my screenshots.

If you want me to film it, I can film it. I've followed everything and I still get these errors. This is the latest >>>>

    Export > Android

Eclipse > Import > the file cant find folders or .jar archives. Hence, I cant export the game.
When I copy and paste these missing archives from another WORKING game, I get this.

How can I be sure my Buildbox isnt bugged?! The .bbdoc file doesnt recognize or misplace elements...
I dont even know what to say to a programmer.

To make it worst, I was struggling to upload a demo to for a local Indie Dev convention... I had till 23:59h to sign up. But I wasted all these days since I started the thread and couldnt sort it out. So that's gone. Wasting money, time and opportunities everyday now.

Trey... are you reading this? Can you take charge of this situation? Im a BB client.

You best bet at this point is to send both your BBDOC and a ZIP of your exported project (both to save time) to support@buildbox.com for help. Please send a dropbox or similar link as any file under 15MB will get stripped out of the email.

I filmed it. So you guys see I'm not joking about it: the .bbdoc file got exported to a brand new workspace, Eclipse is updated, I downloaded all that .SDK crap via Android Studio... now, it boils down to this >>>>

    -

BB .bbdoc is not generating necessary files. The problem doesnt seem to emerge from Eclipse.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Please, I beg.

Thanks, Andy! I'm gonna send it right now.

Please, have a look. Because I have no idea of what's going on right now. It's very frustrating.

Did you open a support ticket? I did not see any email regarding this issue in our queue. You should get an immediate confirmation of your email. There could be any number of things going wrong so I will need to see the files.

I too am having this issue. I am a new member and have sent an email to support. I didn't think I was going to need an outside developer to do heavy coding. It almost seems that way.

If you follow the Buildbox publishing guides the potential issues are minimized. There is no coding needed, but you will need to learn a bit about building an APK and working with the Google Play developer portal. There is no way around that.

The error in the first image tells you exactly what is wrong. When you create your release certificate you need to make sure the expiration date is at least 25 years out.

Yes, so please choose 25 years or greater. You show it being set for 2 years. I don't understand about "cannot create new with the same name".
