I've published a couple of simple Android apps to the Google Play store. They are reference apps, comprised only of UI scenes, where you tap a couple of buttons and then you are presented with a list of times for a particular event. A user can get to the information they want in a couple of taps. What I've noticed in using the app myself is that my Admob ads are really slow to show up. It takes upwards of 30 seconds and sometimes it's gone 1-2 minutes before a banner ad displays. Because the apps are simple, and the amount of time it takes a banner to appear, a user can get the info they need and exit the app all without seeing an ad. So I have a couple of questions... 1. Why does it take so long for a banner ad to display? Does this have anything to do with the Refresh rate setting in the Admob dashboard? 2. Anything I can do to speed it up and make sure my banner ads display right when the app is finished loading?
