Hi all, I am currently working on a game where the player collects stars. The stars are actions and are worth 1 point. I want to add a power up that will make the stars worth 2 points for say 10 seconds. Is this possible? I can't seem to work it out. Thanks in advance.
In the Action Type - set it to gameplay. Scroll down to the score multiplier and put a 2 in there i think. You may need to check the game properties don't mess up with your actual game settings though. If they do, just set them to your current world settings.
@spicedbeangames I tried what you said but changing the multiplier doesn't change anything. The stars are actions and are set to 1 point, and game settings is set to points collected. Any other ideas?
You can can just make a separate lot of stars for that scene you want and have them set to two points, Have a action before the start of those lot of stars with a 2x animation, and just work out the duration time to end the same time as your 2x stars end. If that makes sense.

I'd love this option to be part of Buildbox. A special character for x2 coins. Or a powerup for x2 coins which could be part of a in app purchase as well. Would be awesome.
