Hey, So, I've just noticed 2.2.9 no longer allows two sound affects to be played at the same time. So if you collect a point and collect a coin whilst the sound effect from the point is still playing, the first sound effect stops and doesn't finish playing. Also, if you go through a portal, it stops any current sound effects that are playing... It works in 2.2.8 and 2.2.9beta, but not in 2.2.9. I'm using Mac with latest OS. I'm going to have to build in 2.2.8 and export in 2.2.9beta It's really messed up my platforms, of which I have 40
This might possibly be because when an action ends the start and idle sounds should quit. We did do some work around what happens when an action is ended. We might need to take another look at what is happening here.
+1 for me. More or less the same thing. When the first sound is playing its immediately cut off as soon as the next sound starts. Testing on 2.2.8 this is not an issue! It allowed overlap of sounds.
I mean was it SFX on actions only? I don't think any other SFX should be affected. Best thing is to send an example to support@buildbox.com so we are all on the same page.
Here a little add on which could be connected to that problem! I use an action button (Strike) to perform the characters Slash. So when I gather another action (Invincibility) and perform a Slash while running Invincibility, it deactivates the action (Invincibility) and enemies can kill me, even though the Animation of the invincibility action is still running. Could there be a connection? Or is it normal that one action eases the next action?
