I'm trying to use the simple shooter asset (SS) to act as an enemy turret and am having partial success. So... I'm using a 'Rotate Towards' node to make it track my player. This works fine, however, the direction of the fire of the SS, if left at the default settings, is still firing forward. You can specify a direction in the 'Spawn' node but I don't want to set the direction of fire, I want it to fire in the direction the SS is facing (ie towards the player). I get close to the desired effect by setting the 'Spawn' node for the bullet to 'As Child'. This does make the bullets come out of the 'gun' of the SS, however, as the player moves the SS tracks the player, but so does the whole stream of bullets. A bullet really needs to stay on its original trajectory. Can anyone help achieve that?
