    Hello everyone, :) @Miko Buildbox @Hanomax @Smart Penguins
the best way to optimize my 2D game is to resize my sprites and textures in atlas or directly in photoshop ? Thank you in advance for your help, I did some research, there are people who resize in atlas and others with photoshop, I wonder who is better to optimize 2D game better and have less loss of quality of sprites and textures ?

    Hello-
I used this tool before and the images' sizes were optimized dramatically without quality loss, you can give it a try and see if it works for you https://riot-optimizer.com

Thank you very much for your help,:) @Miko Buildbox @Hanomax @Smart Penguins @Ayman I appreciate it very much, but the problem is that the problem is not compatible with my hardware, I only work on photoshop cc 2020 or illustrator cc 2020 and I don't have a pc but a mac, but it's very nice of you to have offered me this software. The best way to optimize your 2D game is to resize sprites and textures with atlas in buldboxx 3.1.3 or Photoshop? Thanks again to you for your help.

    Do it in Buildbox first.
I haven't got that far, however I would do both, just to check the size.

@Miko Buildbox @Hanomax @Smart Penguins @Ayman I read this message on a buldbox forum post which talks about the resizing size of sprites and texture I am copying the message to you Can you tell me if that sounds good to you ?

    Hi, I use:For characters, 128 x128px, max.
For enemies, trees, scenery, etc ... 256x256 maximum.
Always use the images 1: 1, never reduce or enlarge the image in BB.
    For solid colors, 64x64px maximum.

Note: Always check that there is no image in the Atlasses repeated, the maximum number of Atlasses I recommend is 2 to 2048x2048px

Personally, I reduce size in photoshop. So when I drag it into Buildbox, it is in the right size.

Hello, that's perfect, never change the size inside BB, especially if you add an image for example 300x300 and reduce it to 30x30, that affects the amount of Atlasses and the CPU consumption.

I dunno about that. My game is under 20 mb, I have 15 atlases and i could have added more. All my sprites are reduced to 50% directly in buildbox and the game still runs at 60fps. Buildbox is way more capable than 2 atlases per game :D
