Hi guys! I`m trying to add a "Tap to start"-option in my start scene, like in this game: Can anyone explain how I would go about to achieve this?
Hey, this can be done quite easy. Setup a Ui before your world. Select a navigation button and stretch it across the whole of Ui screen you just created. Use a "Text Label" and simply type "Tap To Start" on this screen. Back out of the UI screen and hook this up to your world/level and that's it. I would recommend using the built in animation sequencer and play around with the text to get a better result. For example set opacity from zero to 1. This would fade the text on to the screen Hope this helps
Hi, thanks for your suggestion, I`m not sure if this will make the first screen show as in the "Hot pursuit"-example though? I`d like the 1st scene in my game (start) to be shown with the "Tap to start" on top of it. So when the user clicks, the text dissapears, and my character starts moving, if you know what I mean. Might be a simple solution to this, but I can`t quite figure it out..
Maybe add a touch node before your move node. Check the attachment. This may not work for your project
Hi, and thanks for your suggestion as well. My character is set up with the touch path move-node, so I`m unsure if this will work, but I`ll play around and see if I can make anything happen. Thanks again
