In year 2600 Space Running is the most followed competition in the galaxy. Run your own ship through planetary highways, collect gems and fight to survive! Win challenges and become the greatest space runner of all times! An exciting game, a tricky race, a unique show! Hi guys! Here's a short clip from my upcoming game: Space Runner 2600. This clip shows the skippable game tutorial at start. Comments and questions are highly appreciated, thanks!
its a good idea, I do recommend that you make it less stiff though. if the ship swayed as you went from left to right it would look more natural. you good also do that same thing for when it goes up and down. however, I really do like the idea and can't wait to try it.
@Josh (Nology Games) Thanks for your comment, I'll work on the stiffness. Actually it should also be considered that as of now I'm trading off some smoothness for better precision when aiming enemies. Also, I grabbed this clip from the preview in Buildbox (my bad ) and movements look quite different when using a mouse to move the ship instead of swiping with a finger on a touchscreen.
its always a good idea to have you preview be the top shelf product. people who see it might like the updated version but could get put off by the older version. if you know what I mean.
@OneHitGamer Hey, thanks! Actually I made the mountains models using a nice piece of software called L3DT, it's purpose is specifically to generate terrain maps and textures which you can then export and use in your project. The standard version of it is free even for commercial use, it is powerful enough and quite easy to use: http://www.bundysoft.com/L3DT/. About the other models I made myself a few, like the spaceships, gems and some small object, many other comes from CGTrader (mostly paid models).
