Making A 2d Game In Buildbox 3.0

    This is really simple question, but want to make sure that I've understood everything correctly.

    If you want to make a 2D game in BB3, do you just click the 2D button on the upper right corner enabling 2D mode?

    yes :) but game is still 3d.
    2d button means camera view looks like 2d.

    @weboha thanks for the help! Do you know if this is how it's going to be with BB3.0 or will there be a "dedicated 2D" mode later on? Wondering if making 2D game that basically run's in 3D space has an effect on the performance compared to running 2D game in a 2D engine.

    It seems to affect performance. You can drag in PNG images and stuff, but collision shape of these images are 3D meshes (cube, sphere etc).
