    Hello
I would like to create a 2D game using buildbox 3D. I tried to click on the 2D button and started making a 2D game, but I had an issue with the camera position and the background . The camera is always on the background. Tried to change its position but the game isn't shown in the preview mode. How can I fix that. Is there any way I can have BB2D?
I couldn't find good size 3D assets every time I download them and place them on BB3D, they are real huge and can't be found until I zoom out that's why I want to work with 2D version instead

I think the best option for you is to make your game in 3D. You can scale down (x, y and z axes) your objects and center them so that you can see them through your camera. Then once you made your game in 3D you can switch to 2D mode and play a bit with the camera so that it appears as you like (you have here to work with the position and maybe even the rotation of the camera) and you should be able to see it in the preview.
    I hope it will help.
