Getting Fbx Animations To Work

    Has anyone been successful in converting fbx animations into obj so they work in Buildbox? If so, could you explain how you do it?

    You can use spawn, delay and remove nodes but its primitive.
    Someone made a node that could help. Not sure who but its on this forum.

    It's a painful process if you have a lot of animations, plus there's a performance problem. It also crashes BB a lot, so not really worth doing unless you have under say 15 frames.

    Ok thank you @Jackazoid and @spicedbeangames for your feedback! I guess it would be better to wait for now then. With the new partnership, I’m hoping more features will become available sooner.

    Indeed but I do think FBX support is months away - maybe even into the New Year. You could try smaller animations as I said above and have a play with the bb doc to see how things work. If stability improves, then this could be a good option for now.
