Character Bug

The character sometimes does not move when i touch the screen and only shows his animation.
How to fix it

 

Would you be able to give more detail? It makes it easier to narrow it down.

 

my character supposed to move up to get some coin and pass to the next checkpoint when i touch the screen but some times doesn't move.i tried to change the collision but the problem still there.
in the attached screenshot when i hit the screen the character didn't move and only the animation show up
