Maybe this is possible, but I couldn't find it. Just finished watching Make a Game Like Voodoo: Part 3, and could not believe that there is not (was not?) a way to group objects. The bit about making hoops, and walls and lines for collisions, is a perfect example where one should make that collection once, create a group of it, and then just drag-n-drop the group multiple times as desired. Having to make identical items over and over again by hand is a horrible waste of time! As a retired programmer, this strikes me as a trivial addition to the code. OR... as a complete newb, did I just miss it, and not understand why each item had to be made over and over again? If I missed something, please forgive the wasted bandwidth
There is no direct way of grouping objects in the scene for now. But you can create models using shapes. This feature is not that flexible. But can use for now. https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/build-models-using-shapes-and-reuse-it.13993/
Hmmm... well, since it's really just a giant select-all; copy; paste it seems like it should be easy to implement. Here's a +1 upvote for inclusion -soon-. Thanks.
+1 from me. To be able to group several items together and manipulate them all as one object would be a great help and keep it looking tidy in the object tree
