New guy here, but I have watched as many tutorials on youtube as I can find and read through the forums to try and fix it myself with no luck. I don't have anything overlapping the game frame, but when I play my game and go from start to level one and so on it creates a gray bar down at the bottom (see pics). I have no clue what is causing it as all of my scenes are duplicates of the first scene with minor add-ons. Again, everything is within the game frame so why am I having this problem? Please help!! 1st level screen (gray bar at bottom): Start scene (no gray bar):
Hi there @crmsnbld, welcome to the forum. It's always difficult to diagnose without having the bbdoc in front of me, but I will take a ew guesses of some things you can check. 1: Check the Game Direction in your World and make sure it is set to 0. It may have been accidentally changed to 1 or -1 and there is some movement as you change scenes. 2: Check your background layer positions, are covering the bottom edge of the scene, allowing enough to cover for both iPhone and iPad resolutions. 3: Preview your game using bug mode. Usually this kind of issue would come from an unwanted collision somewhere. Q: Does this happen in preview? What version of BB are you using? Does is also happen on a device? Have you tested it yet on a device? Let us know what you find and if you cannot solve it, you can drop me the bbdoc if you wish and I will take a look. Failing all of that, send it to support@buildbox.com and ask for some assistance. Good luck.
