Alright I've searched on here but can't seem to find a straight answer for what I'm looking for here. I just want checkpoints set up for my platformer that when my character dies, I'll be able to start from that checkpoint instead of the beginning of the level again.
put lots of checkpoints in the level, when character passes one of them and die somehow, he could click the button that teleports him to the nearest checkpoint. The only way I could think of
Every so often put a set checkpoint in your level. Then on game over, put a button which you can set as last checkpoint.
