Hii Boxers I have recently got a request from a publisher to publish one my game. I have checked their history and they seems to be new in publishing. they have not published any game yet. Tread warily. The website is incomplete which is not exactly a vote of confidence in their abilities. You might want to hit them up with exactly the question you asked here. Why do they not have any Publishing deals in place already? Why have they targeted your game in particular? What promotion plans do they have for the game? What answers to these and any other questions you have will give you some clarity I think.
Tread wearily like Andy said. Fortfay games was sort of new to publishing before Color Switch blew up. No definitive answer just trust your gut and cross your fingers for the best!
I think I'd add to that I'd also by wary in case this was a honeypot scam trying to collect bank account details etc
That mean if i got satisfactory answers from them about the question above, i can move ahead. I will make sure not to provide any such confidential detail which can be missused.
