I can't seem to find BuildBox System Requirements... Can someone point me in the right direction? Or list them below please Also, my computer that has my BB 2 on it, is in for repair and may or may not get wiped/clean install. Can I install BB on my temp computer for a little while? Also, temp computer is Windows, not Mac OS. Thanks
Only BB can be installed in 2 machines. To disable BB you have to contact support. Mac OS X 10.8, 10.9 and 10.10, Windows 7 and 8 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buildbox
Oh I see, thank you. Do the 2 machines have to be the same OS? Yes I found those on wiki, but they're not system requirements, only compatible OS's.
Here is our official requirements, we'll be updating them soon for more recent OS. Mac: OS X 10.8 - 10.10 OS X 10.9+ (required for publishing) Intel Core 2 Duo CPU 200MB free disk space (for the software only) 1GB RAM Windows: Windows 7 or Windows 8 OpenGL 2.0 OpenAL Intel Core 2 Duo CPU (or AMD equivalent) 200MB free disk space (for the software only) 1GB RAM
Ah awesome. Thanks Andy. That's great. Because my temp PC is only Windows 7. I usually run El Capitan
I installed my buildbox on Windows 10. Am I out of luck? I just started watching the tutorials and have not really dug into the software.
No, Windows 10 is fine. That is one of the OS that should be officially added (along with Sierra). You should have no issue.
@Andy How soon can we expect compatibility with Mac OS Sierra? I've been waiting for the all clear from you guys before I upgrade.
Yes, I just did a quick run and test build of an iOS export. The only caution I would give is that there may be certain reasons to continue to run Xcode 6 or Xcode 7 with BB1. If you install Sierra you are not able to run older versions of Xcode. It's not easy if you find out that you need to move your OS backward.
