    Hello.

So I was wondering, what is the best software to use to Animate Balls?

    Like I'm KetchApps Hop/Catch Up?
Or maybe even in the BB game, Tricky?

    They have really awesome balls.

    How can I make these?
I know they have to be frames for BB rather than a 3D model, but that's no problem.

    Thanks :D

Hey man honestly I think blender is the best option for 3D animation if you are on a budget. It is 100% free and VERY easy to learn. I started looking at tutorials about week ago and now I am practically an expert (lol jk).

    I think the best is:

    Sprite Pro:

That software is great, but I'm looking to build a 3D sphere with a decoration, then export frames of an animation...
From what I can tell, the Sprite program doesn't allow you to create this? Unless I overlooked it :)

If you want to create something in 3d and get passed to sprites and then use it as 2d graphics. The best is Blender:

Hey @AaroArts, I haven't done so much animating, but for creating 3D sphere's etc, what about the Adobe CC suite? Photoshop has 3D tool and is easy to create frames and I've used Video Copilot's Element 3D in After Effects for the last few years and it's superb for 3D shape and gorgeous materials. These are good options if you have the Adobe suite of course, but a bit pricey if not. Blender is also a favourite, but I've not used it much, but as @brakewind723 mentioned above, it only takes a few video tutorials to get the basics rolling.

What animation/material/decoration are you after for your sphere?
