Delayed Review

Hello, I sent a game for review on Friday and it still hasnt gone into review. I thought the review team had the weekend off for fathers day and that the game would be approved monday morning but unfortunately no sign of progress.
Has anyone else have issues with review lately or am I just unlucky

I've sent on Friday an update with new build and today passed through without any issues.

 

Yes has been waiting for review since friday. its really making me mad. any way to get a review without a resubmission

Last time I got to update my keywords section because of some issues (with the app preview actually) but you can only add new previews with a new build so I've sent new build, uploaded new previews and got reviewed within few hours, it was quick. But sometimes I have to wait more than 4 days so it really depends on something else, I don't know exactly, better ask guys located in LA area.

 

I had no luck reviewers went home and still no review. Im going to take the L and submit a new build, lets hope it doesn't take more than a day to pass. The worst thing is that its a Floor is Lava game and the trend faded away over the weekend.

Put a screenshot showing the "Waiting for review" status, from iTunes Connect or e-mail.

 

Write to App Store support directing to your app with app ID.

 

Well, waiting a few days is no big deal.
When I submitted my first ever game, the wait times were well over a week

However, they do aim to get it in review within 24-48 hours I believe.
But if you look at http://appreviewtimes.com/ios/raw-data, you can see over the last few days, some people have even been waiting up to 4 days.

By resubmitting a new build, you may have reset the clock.
And if your game style is trending, they may be taking extra time to make sure no assets or game templates have been reused from third party sources given their new App Store rules, where they are cracking down on clones and reskins: https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/21/apple-goes-after-clones-and-spam-on-the-app-store/
But I can't be sure.

I'd imagine they're just back-logged, or your app was queued with a reviewer who's on leave.
Hopefully it'll go live in the next day or so.
