How To Copy An Action Item Into A Object?

I know it's a stupid question, but I really need help!

First, put the action into the scene, click on the object in the scene, press control+x, open the target object's default animation, control v, that should do the trick. If you want the action to appear upon the death of an object, just put the action in the death animation. Let me know if that helps!
