From my point of view it's like 50 / 50. You might get it working properly or you might get lots of errors. A lot of people are spending quite a huge amount of money for a game builder and yet they are not able to create a proper apk file. What and where is the main problem? There are people who manage to create it easily and it's super cool. But then there are others who face the real nightmare (like me). I spent more than a week trying to create a working apk. Problem after problem - it's still not working (got it installed on my phone but it just keeps crashing). I have followed various tutorials, tried to uninstall/reinstall Eclipse/AS/Java... NOTHING (now I have more problems with Eclipse) I am not that guy who can code or program softwares and that's the reason why I am using BB. But now, it seems that if you don't understand Eclipse or AS - you are lost. Right now, while trying to open Eclipse: Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. I am just starting to lose my hope.
First of all, there are so few rules, if you respect them, there are no problems with exporting .apk file This forum is for help each other, if you don't tell us what is you problem, we don't know how to help you. Are here people that connect trough Team-viewer to help you. If we can't help you, you should ask for help at support@buildbox.com
The exporting tutorial shows the basic steps. As I have mentioned before - I keep getting errors even if I follow that tutorial. Right now I can't open the Eclipse because of the error which is described in the post. jcalle tried to help me, but we had no luck. Also, I have sent my BB file to the support, but sadly got no response.
Try to fix your Eclipse error first. I don't know exactly what to say about this error, but i can say to Unnistall Eclipse and Java, then use Ccleaner to clean you pc , after that Reinstall Eclipse adn Java 1.7 . If that is not work you should install a fresh windows .
Your so right, but when eclipse is installed correctly with all the android SDK's and java blah blah it works. I tried for months to install eclipse and build a APK, with error after error. Then i gave up. But met a guy who installed it for me, and had it running in no time, now it takes a couple of minutes to build an APK. Also APK crashing on your Phone could also be something wrong with your game and not the APK build itself,
Well, it shouldn't be so hard to install it. I have installed all that stuff, but I am still stuck Any ideas how to find that guy? Haha
might be. You can try ask @jcalle He offers help with eclipse via team viewer, he seems to be a wiz at eclipse. Every post with eclipse problems he seems to help them with it.
