    Hello.

So I was wondering... if you submit a game to multiple publishers, including KetchApp etc, how long do you give them before you accept another contract/publish solo?

    Thanks :)

It's best to submit your game to one publisher at a time. You wouldn't want to put yourself in a situation where two publishers want your game at the same time

    Very true actually.
But still, how long would you give the first publisher before seeking another?
    Thanks.

I think it totally depends on them, small publishers would publish early within maybe 2 or 3 months or earlier and big publishers such as ketchapp can even take more than 8 months to publish your game once they have accepted it to publish.

Write them an email and track it. If you see they opened it but do not reply in 3-4 days send them another one. If they open it and do not reply in 1-2 days go on to the next one. At least that's how I do it but beware: I never got back from anyone. lol.

I never heard back from KetchApp but that's no surprise. I was going to try the smaller ones next time around.

    How do you track emails?

Ketchapp can answer you within minutes if they are interested in your game. Otherwise, after a week you can be sure that he will not contact you. (They say it somewhere on their site "after 7 days") ^^

I also know that EyeBoxGames responds quickly.

I didn't realise EyeBoxGames were interested in publishing third party games. Thats interesting :D

I'll probably stick with Nanovation, Umbrella and Appsolute to be honest. Unless I'm forgetting some?

Yeah, I think as well that when someone is interested it is pretty immediate once they saw your trailer. They know what they want and are looking for.

Regarding tracking, there are several options. Bananatag is one of them and free for a certain amount of mails and can be integrated to gmail. It also tracks URLs so you know they not only opened the mail but also watched the trailer. :) If you only want to track the mail then you can use some mail application providers like Airmail (one time payment) or Newton (subscription). Hope that helps.
