    Hi there,

How would I go about creating a line that grows from the bottom of the screen and constantly moves upwards towards the top, like a snake almost?

Kind of, that is quite buggy tho. I want to simulate like a bean stalk growing from the ground that keeps growing.

Bruv, I saw just what you're looking for a few weeks ago.. Bear with me for a bit, while I search that for you - After 7 minutes ... :D

Have a look at what @TreySmith does on minute 34:00, with the particle effect emitter, nice & simple :)

What about the main character? Please provide more details if you actually want someone to help you :)

Making it go smoother? in terms of what? you could choose another color, surely would give it another effect, besides @TreySmith, selects the color box for the emitter sideways, maybe if it was upwards with 2 different greens the plant might look different, but it's just a theory, you won't know for sure until you've tested it yourself ;)

Appoliges for my vagueness. I want to make this effect the main character. I am trying to create a endless vertical runner where the main character is like a snake that starts from the bottom and keeps moving towards the top. When I smoother I mean the current effect has large pixelation on the sides and just doesn't look right.

Right, I see that would be something you would have to test for yourself with various different textures, see what goes best with what..
Regarding the actual character being that effect, I find it hard to believe its do-able, unless ofc your character itself is some sort of animation looping it self looking like its going up ,while its actually stopped and the screen itself & game direction is going upwards..

As I said, test it out see where you get.. Not all unusual requests are impossible, some are just really hard to achieve unless you've done it before, or saw somebody else doing it.. With BuilbBox it's all about the workarounds, doing different processes to achieve the same result

    good luck bruh
