I'm guessing here but... 1.In your game UI create 2 character buttons move left and right 2. Under character make your X move about 30....make your Y about 30ish 3. Make gravity about 20ish or so So when left button pushed it will move 30 to left...and jump 5-10 up in relation to gravity (offset).......slow fall. Same for right move. I feel that would do it. Anyone ?

@INKY I have been testing a new build based on your sample above. For some reason, the character will not move left/right (only up) with the attached configuration (when clicking on the screen). Works fine with keyboard arrows. Any thoughts?
uncheck block touch through on all of them, even if bottom layer, because they get finicky, that big one is jump, right?
here a little template show the character movement of slip away and how to control the charcter with component action two buttons and also with the swip control for a one tap game just the trail it didnt work for me can someone check it
