Make Scene Higher ?

How can I make the scene higher? I'd like a character to be able to go upwards as well as straight, so to have two options to choose from. Is that a possibility at all ? Thanks for the answer.

 

When you select a scene, you can drag the yellow line, or you set the distance on the left side. Is that what you need?

 

No, I know how to make it longer in Landscape mode. I need to make it higher so the character can jump on platforms and go up a long way.

 

Ah okay, you can just put your platforms above the scene. Like in my screenshot

Now I have another problem, when the character goes down, the camera doesn't follow... Is there someway to center the camera on the character ?
