I've noticed a few of the buildbox games being released that they have some animation on the main menu screen. I can't seen to figure out how this is done. Any ideas?
This is mostly achieved by using a scene as the background. Buildbox 2 probably will have other options.
Also if you use an animation editor outside of BB and import an animation as a series of png images then you can do all sorts of animations. If you want animations such as used in the Phases main menu then you can set the background of your main menu as a scene you created with objects moving around how you programmed them.
Ah I think it's just the animated background scene that i'm seeing. It's used in Shadows and in Dot Lines.
Hey Christoph, in many games they have buttons animated, like the "play button" or on game over screen the "skip level" or "watch an ad" button, they twinkle, is it made by just adding a sequence of png files like a gif and it's done?
