Buildbox 1.3.7 Is Live!

    Hey guys,

    We released 1.3.7 to BETA a few weeks ago. We're now please to release it officially. There are 1 main difference between the BETA and this release. We updated the Android NDK (used to build the export modules). We are now using the r12b version of the Android NDK. Also please note that this release (as well as the previous BETA) does contain the libpng update needed for Google Play.

    any news on fixing the layering problem ?
    I set my character to the top layer and fix him there but when i run the game its pushed half way down the list other people have the same issue.

    The main layering issue that is a "bug" is if you are using 500+ objects in a scene it may affect you. In that case it is easy to work around, use multiple scenes or a strategy to reduce the number of objects. The other scenarios as far as I know are really just design issues. So it's important to know the exact situation.

    @Andy for me this is usually happening when I try to mess around the Z order of the light effect. I will try to make a demo project for that and a video

    Hello, I just open a ticket for a problem with my game [# 50457].
    I know it's the weekend, and until Tuesday or Wednesday will not have a response from the support.

    When we use the mouse controls, dying several times, and appear again, the player moves to the right automatically.
    I say this so that more people check the same problem or similar.

    Hello @Andy

    I made game for my client with BB 1.3.5, 2 months ago, it's live for google play store,
    now he want just APK of same game without any ADs and leaderboard etc, he want only simple gameplay for personal distribution.
    now when i make that build with BB 1.3.7, i facing problem,,,,

    Problem is:-
    Game type is "The Line Zen", after game over when you restart game at that time Ball character automatically get move to right or left and collied with enemy walls....
    can you please check it.
    is this new problem with BB 1.3.7?

    Will look into this tomorrow. We have a similar ticket for automatic movement but its not clear if it's the same issue.

    I created that game with buildbox 2.1.0...

    so can u please tell me, if I will create games with Buildbox 1.3.7 then it is ok...

    Use Buildbox 2.2.5 or 1.3.7 and later.

    If I purchase Buildbox 2 $99 a month, will I also get 1.3.7?

    Why would you want BB 1.3.7 if you already get BB 2.x?

    And no, you only got both if you bought the license before BB2 was out. Since April 2016, Buildbox 1 is not sold anymore. Anyone correct me if something changed since then. But that was what the team communicated to all of us back then.

    Could you tell us when there will be a solution to the problem?
    Several months and 3 versions of BB2, there is no answer for this problem with BB 1.3.7
    My Ticket # 50457, was resolved:

    yes you are correct, they are not giving proper support for BB 1.3.7 etc etc versions.
    even i stop hoping as well, and starting work with UINTY3D and COCOS2DX engines....
    because BB is not providing proper support for BB 1.3.7
    So, better to start with other engines and convince our clients to go with that engines....
