Using Bb Offline?

As I'm sure you know, you have to have an internet connection to use BB.
Is there a way to use it offline?

I only ask because today I had a 5 hour train ride and I couldn't use it

 

Unfortunately not. But you can write to support and ask for it. If we all do this then hopefully they will consider this option in the near future. I really hope it will be possible but for now it works as it works for security reasons. That's at least what they told me.

 

It is actually not security but software piracy but yes, we can not expect to have this option any time soon.

 

i also hope so iam having a lot of difficulties when my internet go offline if it was for security reason hackers can beat bb security that s why its everywhere in the web and with last version.

 

I would propose the adoption of a USB dongle like this one: HASP - at least for those who need to use it offline

 

A dongle is a great idea

 

You can use your smartphone to access the internet. (Tethering portable)
